snacks are offered early evenings. The Oddfellows (or more locally known affectionately
as "The Oddies") is a 'Village Institution' having been around for over 100 years. It serves a
selection of ales all at very keen prices, and also has an upstairs function room. The Oddfellows
is also the location for the ever-popular Whit Friday Band Contest.

Highmoor Clay Pigeon Shooting Club
| Based opposite the Roebuck Inn on Brighton Road, Strinesdale,
which is about half-a-mile beyond Grains Bar. The Club shoots on a Tuesday evening during
the summer months and the first Sunday morning of the month the remainder of the year.
