Saturday, 18 November    Church Christmas Fair at the Village Hall. A great opportunity to get those unique christmas presents and to just come along and enjoy nattering over a brew. 11.00am - 3.00pm

2nd to 10th of June 2007: Keep an eye on the Saddleworth Festival website for details of the 2007 Festival. There'll be loads of stuff going on so book the date in your diaries now.

July   Saddleworth Folk Festival held in Uppermill. Further details here.

August   Audax Annual Cycle Race setting off from the Village Hall.
08:00 202 km: Summer version of North West Passage using lanes where possible to take in Bronte country, the Maypole at Long Preston, Tatham Fell and the Riverbank at Slaidburn before returning over Pendleside to Saddleworth
08:30 165 km: Century version of main Bowland ride. Uses lane where possible to take in Bronte country, the Maypole at Long Preston and the Riverbank at Slaidburn before returning over Pendleside to Saddleworth.
09:00 104 km: Uses lanes where possible to take in Bronte country and Wycoller cafe before a spectacular return over Widdop Moor to Saddleworth.

August    Yanks weekend which is now in its 5th year, celebrates the 1940s. The film 'Yanks' starring Richard Gere, was filmed in Saddleworth and this event is now a major event on the calendar for those who enjoyed this period. Go to the Yanks website for more details. for further details.

20 August    Denshaw Flower Show now in its 25th year, held at the Village Hall. More details here.
